Derek Hugdahl, Founder
Derek brings nearly thirty years of recruitment experience in the accounting and finance arenas. His leadership responsibility at some of Minnesota’s top accounting and finance search firms has provided Derek a broad scope of experience from a management, operations, recruitment and business development perspective. Previous roles include Managing Director of Groundswell, LLC; President of Merit & Associates; Executive Search Consultant at Orion Search Group: Managing Director at SNI Financial, Director at McKinley Finance, and Manager at Pacioli Companies. Derek has successfully conducted nearly 400 searches at a wide variety of levels for Minnesota's Fortune 500, midmarket and emerging growth companies. This experience, coupled with a vast network, has provided Derek with the ability to evaluate specific skills sets while enabling him to identify candidates who match his clients' culture and values.
A graduate of Syracuse University, Derek has served on Club Entrepreneurs and as a board member of Eden Prairie Lacrosse Association.
